# Cubby Cubby is the universal dev server for AI-built applications. Cubby is not a code generator — your chat is the generator; Cubby is where the app runs. What "real" means: real auth, its own Postgres per app, vaulted connections (secret values never transit a chat transcript), live at a real address on cubby.pro. Provenance: anything on cubbyapps.com is us; anything on cubby.pro is user-built. Status: early access, rebuilt in the open. Sign in at https://app.cubbyapps.com with your email, or with Continue with Google for a Gmail or Google Workspace address; we let a set number of new people in each day, so a full day says so and tomorrow works. Pages: - https://cubbyapps.com/, the home page: what Cubby is, the two doors (work first), and the walkthrough request. - https://cubbyapps.com/security — the isolation model (one V8 isolate and one Postgres per app), the vault, egress allowlists, the complete subprocessor list, export/delete, and the vulnerability disclosure policy. - https://cubbyapps.com/connect — add Cubby to Claude: paste https://mcp.cubbyapps.com/mcp as a custom connector (Customize → Connectors; on Team and Enterprise plans an Owner adds it for the organization); ChatGPT developer mode takes the same URL. Troubleshooting and the support address are at https://cubbyapps.com/connect#troubleshooting. For Claude Code there is also the Cubby plugin, the same server plus the build-on-cubby skill: https://cubbyapps.com/connect#claude-code. - https://cubbyapps.com/privacy — what Cubby actually holds and why, the 14-day deletion hold, export any time, and the complete subprocessor list. - https://cubbyapps.com/terms — the early-access terms and acceptable use: what you own, what you may not do, and exactly what the platform can do about it today (pause deploys for everyone, delete a workspace on request or for cause, take one app's address down by hand). - https://cubbyapps.com/pricing — five plans (Free $0, Starter $9, Builder $29, Team $49, Business $149 a month), the workspace rule (personal workspaces buy Starter or Builder, organizations buy Team or Business), unlimited seats and free viewers. Pricing: every number on a price card exists in the platform's quota code before it exists on the page, and a test keeps the two in step. Plans are bought from the dashboard (https://app.cubbyapps.com/billing) through Stripe Checkout. For AI agents in Claude Code: - Install the Cubby plugin (https://github.com/cubby-pro/cubby-plugin): Cubby's MCP server, https://mcp.cubbyapps.com/mcp, and the build-on-cubby skill. claude plugin marketplace add cubby-pro/cubby-plugin claude plugin install cubby@cubby - Signing in happens in the user's browser, so tell them the steps and wait until they say they are signed in: run /reload-plugins (it loads the plugin without a restart), then /mcp, pick plugin:cubby:cubby and choose Authenticate, sign in to Cubby, pick the workspace and press Approve. - Then call Cubby's whoami tool and tell the user the account, workspace and plan it names. Every Cubby tool acts in that one workspace. - To build, follow the build-on-cubby skill and write app code only from what Cubby's docs tool returns. Cubby's MCP server also sends a short form of the skill's steps when it connects.
